Shredded potato box
Overview
This is one of my son’s favorite pastas. I haven’t made it for him for a long time. I still have three pieces of dough left from yesterday. It doesn’t take much time to make this. I pick up the kids and come home from school. I cook and he does his homework. Isn’t this the most ordinary and simple life?

Wash the potatoes, peel them, cut into shreds and soak in water.

After filtering the water from the potato shreds, chop the garlic and set aside.

Put oil in the wok. After the oil is hot, add minced garlic first, add a little salt and then add shredded potatoes. This will prevent water from leaking out, otherwise it will easily leak when making the pie.

After frying the shredded potatoes, add salt, five-spice powder, chicken essence and sesame oil, put it into a plate and let it cool.

Take out the hot dough. I made it with the three remaining doughs from making egg-filled pancakes. Please refer to my recipe for egg-filled pancakes for the method of hot-scalding the dough.

Dry each piece of dough into a round sheet.

Use chopsticks to spread shredded potatoes on half of the dough sheet.

Fold the dough sheet in half, press the edges tightly, and then use a fork to make patterns.

After the electric baking pan is preheated, put the pie embryo into the electric baking pan, use medium heat and press the pie button to heat up and down until both sides are browned and cooked.

Pair it with a plate of vegetables and enjoy it😄
