Stewed rock sugar lemon
Overview
Stew rock sugar and lemon into tea, which is very effective for sore throats and coughs. I also had a cough, and a friend invited me to drink it. I found that after drinking one bottle, I felt better.

Steps
-
Wash the lemon
-
Slice lemons and remove seeds if any.
-
Put the lemon slices into the stew pot.
-
Spread a layer of rock sugar.
-
Close the lid of the stew pot and pour water into the stew pot. Be careful not to add water to the lemon. The juice will come out when the lemon is stewed, so there is no need to add water at all.
-
Make your choice of dessert and simmer for 2 hours.
-
After simmering for two hours, open it and see that the rock sugar has not completely melted.
-
Continue to add rock sugar and continue simmering for 2 hours.
-
Simmer until 2 pounds of rock sugar melts. I stewed it three times in total, for a total of 6 hours. The lemon is still a bit hard, but I like to eat it this way. The best effect is to stew for 10 hours.
-
Store in glass bottles with ice.
-
When you want to drink it, make some hot tea and add some rock sugar and lemon. It is a very delicious, sour and sweet tea.
-
After another hour of simmering, the rock sugar will become much thicker, like honey.
