Black sesame milk steamed buns
On a rainy day, I had nothing to do at home on the weekend, so I started tinkering with food. The brown sugar steamed buns I made last time had been emptied, so I decided to use a small jar of freshly squeezed black sesame paste bought in the market to make some steamed buns for breakfast next week. I didn’t want to eat out during my pregnancy, so I had to make it myself. Black sesame seeds are very good for pregnant mothers~

Finger marshmallow
Although carving marshmallows into small flowers looks good, it creates a bunch of shapeless leftovers. When I made it again, I decided not to do all these fancy things. It was a regular shape with no leftovers, and I added some colors to fool my eyes. The color of the grape juice is good, very deep. I wonder if it will be diluted if I add a little bit? Let’s try it. As soon as I tried it, I realized that trying to add color to the marshmallows with a little fruit juice was completely futile, so I had no choice but to grab a pigment to save the day, purple, and combine it with grape juice. Shape, what kind of shape, and how to operate it so that no scraps are left? Flattened and cut? The marshmallow paste doesn't flow very well, and when poured on top of the starch, it barely flows. Then put it into a bag, squeeze it into long strips, and cut it into small sections. There will be no corners left, and the round shape will be more stylish. It turns out that the idea is good and easy to implement. . .

Original floret marshmallow
How long will it take to delay from spring to autumn? When you can't find glucose powder, you put it down, but you have been looking for glucose for a long time, so why do you keep putting it off again and again? Procrastination. . . Finally decided to take action. In fact, it is not as complicated and troublesome as imagined. Although it is a bit clumsy, it does not take as much effort as imagined. It's just that the pink powder is a little difficult to deal with. The whipped slurry does not seem to have good fluidity like the original one. When poured on the powder, it cannot flow into a flat plane by itself. It is convex and concave, so I have to pull and pull it by myself to make it look a little smoother. I struggled again between cutting it into squares or making a pattern, and finally decided to make a pattern - just leave the corners. At the beginning, I grabbed a mold of a small fish, but then I realized something was wrong. The tail of the fish can easily break if you are not careful when removing it from the mold. With hands full of powder, I checked the molds, tried several, and finally chose a small flower, which was of a suitable size. Sure enough, it worked. However, the planes that were pulled out were thicker and thinner, and the small flowers carved out were also unevenly thick, but it was done anyway. Next time I won't say anything and won't engrave anything. . .
