I made some kidney bean and red date filling and didn’t use it up for making bread, so I used it to make this one-bite cake. The puff pastry is relatively simple to make. You don’t need to use mille-feuille pastry or whipped butter. You can just knead it directly with butter. It is a snack with almost no difficulty, and it is still crispy and delicious in the mouth. Personally, it tastes better than mille-feuille pastry. Haha, maybe it’s because I don’t particularly like puff pastry.
