Rice parfait is a special New Year product in my hometown. It is made by grinding japonica rice and pouring burned edible gypsum into it. Nowadays, people eat more and naturally forget about it. When I was a child, I was very busy as the New Year was approaching. I made too many New Year’s goods. Now everyone is busy at work and has no time to make them. A few days ago I saw an old man selling this rice jelly, so I couldn't help but buy a small piece to make it. It's perfect as breakfast, with a stronger hometown flavor.
