Stewed taro with pumpkin and candied dates
Overview
I was planning to cook taro, but when I saw some pumpkin left in the refrigerator, I suddenly wanted to boil them together with some sugar water to drink. It tasted good with candied dates.

Prepare ingredients.

Cut the candied dates in half, cut the pumpkin into cubes, and cut the taro into cubes.

Add water to the pot, put in the taro and cook first.

When it boils, add the dates.

Add rock sugar.

Bring to a boil over high heat and remove the foam.

When the taro begins to soften, add the pumpkin and simmer together.

Cook until the pumpkin and taro are soft and waxy, then turn off the heat and simmer for a few more minutes before serving.
