Prepare the ribs, cut the ribs into sections and separate them for later use

Boil water in a pot, blanch the pork ribs, remove the scum, drain the water and set aside

Put oil in the pot, add two tablespoons of sugar, and simmer over low heat until the sugar color turns red,

Boil the sugar and add the pork ribs to color. After the pork ribs change color, add onions, ginger, garlic and aniseed, stir-fry and add hot water
