Homemade chili oil
Overview
I bought a new blender online two days ago, which has the function of dry grinding seasonings. I still have some red peppers dried last fall at home, so I gave them a try. They were crushed very fine, so I used them to make some chili oil.

Steps
-
Take a clean bowl and add chili powder, salt and white sesame seeds in it.
-
Heat oil in a pot until it is 70% hot. If you are not sure how hot the oil is, just watch the oil in the pot smoke.
-
After the oil is hot, pour the hot oil into the bowl with a spoon. It is best to stir the oil with chopsticks while heating the oil, so as not to overburn the chili powder and turn it all black. Add the oil little by little, not all at once.
-
That's it.

After the chili oil has cooled down, you can put it into a clean jar and put it in the refrigerator. You can take it out when you want to eat it.
