Cold Celery, Carrot and Peanut Rice
Overview
Celery is cool in nature, sweet and pungent in taste, non-toxic, has the effects of clearing away heat and relieving troubles, diuresis and swelling, cooling blood and stopping bleeding. Celery has been a favorite vegetable since ancient times. The apigenin contained in celery has a blood pressure-lowering effect. The cellulose content in its petioles is relatively high, which can facilitate defecation. For women, because celery contains high iron content, it is also a good blood-nourishing food.
