Beef and Zucchini Skewers
Overview
The boss and I like skewers very much, and we also like cumin-flavored beef. From time to time, we will cook a dozen skewers of it and chew it slowly. It is also good for drinking beer.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Cut the beef into pieces about 2 cm long and wide, soak bamboo skewers in water overnight;
-
In a large bowl, put beef cubes, 2 teaspoons of cumin powder, 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of Sichuan pepper powder, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of meat tenderizer, and 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil. Grip evenly with your hands. Add 1 tablespoon of water. Grip with your hands until the water is absorbed. Add 1 tablespoon of water and scratch until the water is completely absorbed;
-
Place in a tight box in the refrigerator overnight;
-
Chop the garlic, put it into a small bowl, then add 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, and 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Stir evenly to form a sauce that coats the surface of the skewers and also gives the vegetables some flavor;
-
Cut the zucchini vertically into eight strips, remove the core and cut into cubes. Cut the peppers and onions into cubes the size of beef cubes;
-
Use a long baking pan and line it with tin foil so that it can be easily cleaned after the meat skewers are cooked. Use bamboo skewers to skewer the beef, zucchini, onions and peppers, place them horizontally on the baking pan, and use a brush to apply the juice and residue on the surface of the meat skewers;
-
Place the entire plate of barbecue skewers in the preheated oven at 400~425F for 20~22 minutes. When the meat is cooked, it is ready to eat.
