I always like to order dry pot Chiba tofu when I go out, but I can’t get enough of it every time. I happened to have a piece of frozen tofu in the refrigerator, so I started making it myself. Since I don’t have a dry pot, I made a simple version

  1. Frozen tofu slices

  3. Add the pork belly and stir-fry the oil

  4. After the oil comes out, push aside and add onion, ginger, garlic and Baoxiang

  5. Add a spoonful of Pixian bean paste

  6. Add some carrots

  7. Add salt and fry until the carrots become soft. If you want it to be more flavorful, you can add some water and simmer for a while
