Runfei and Zhike Decoction
Overview
Bawang flower, apricot and fig stewed in pork bone soup has the effect of clearing away heat and moisturizing the lungs, relieving cough and reducing phlegm. It is suitable for people with respiratory symptoms such as dry cough without phlegm, difficult to cough up or thick yellow phlegm, dry throat and pain. Soak Bawang flowers and northern and southern apricots in clean water.

Blanch the pork bones and remove.

Blanch the bones and rinse them, along with the figs and candied dates.

Soak the overlord flowers until soft, tear them apart and rinse them thoroughly.

Put all the ingredients into the pot and add appropriate amount of water.

Cover and bring to a boil over high heat.

After boiling, remove any foam, simmer on high heat for 20 minutes, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 40 minutes.
