My heart is made of glass-----glass heart cookies
Overview
I was browsing Junzhi's blog and saw this cute biscuit. My son happened to bring back coconut-flavored fruit candies from his wedding banquet, so I quickly started making them. After making slight adjustments to Junzhi's recipe, I discovered for the first time that it takes courage to change someone else's recipe. The change was very correct. Less butter was added and the dough was harder, which matched the crispy fruit candy. If it was too crispy, it would taste like a mix and a strong twist.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Cut the butter into small pieces and soften it.
-
Add sugar and salt and mix lightly.
-
Beat the eggs at low speed without beating. It is recommended that an ordinary manual egg beater will suffice.
-
Add egg liquid and beat well.
-
Add the flour in 3 batches and mix evenly with a spatula.
-
Knead into a smooth dough.
-
Crush the fruit candy, not too crushed, just cut it into two halves according to the size of the biscuits.
-
Roll out the dough into a dough.
-
The mold snaps out the shape.
-
Cut out a smaller round shape in the center. I used the piping tip adapter.
-
Knead the leftovers again and roll them into a button shape. Once done, place them on a baking sheet and place fruit candies in the center hole.
-
Put it in the middle rack of the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. Be sure to put baking paper, otherwise it will stick if you put it directly on the baking sheet.
