Pineapple rice
Overview
I went to Beijing last weekend to attend a book signing event for Mi Meng. I was honored to be selected to enter the venue and meet one of the most popular writers in recent years, Yui Aragaki·Slim·Mi Meng. Please forgive me, the original name is actually much longer than this, but I didn't remember it... facepalm... There are only two days on the weekend, so the time to play is very short, and there are few choices for eating. I only had two formal Chinese meals, one at Juqi and one at Camellia Girl. Camellia Girl's pineapple rice is delicious. It is made of glutinous rice and is sticky and glutinous. Unlike the restaurant at home, they just put the pineapple into the fried rice and put it directly on the plate. They don't even have a pineapple container. The rice is also used for the fried rice. When I ate it, I wanted to try making it myself when I got home, so I used a rice cooker to make it. It was really easy. I made it in the morning. I only took a bite to taste it and then went to work. Because I was making and taking pictures, I didn't have time to eat it. But when I got home at night and wanted to eat, I found that there was only an empty pot to greet me... I burst into tears... Mixed with candied dates, raisins, and wolfberries, there was a pot of pineapple rice. It was fragrant, glutinous, and sweet. My parents ate it all. It was so delicious that they forgot that they had a big baby...

Rinse the glutinous rice, add water in a ratio of approximately 1:1, and soak overnight.

Cut half of the pineapple into small cubes. Cut deeper but don't cut into the skin.

Gently spread the pulp, candied dates, raisins, and wolfberries evenly.

Place the inner pot into the rice cooker, close the lid, and turn on the power.

Select short grain rice - boiled with essence - medium texture and press the start button.

After the program ends, open the lid, add butter and honey, and mix well with a rice spatula.

Pour out the pineapple rice, put it into a pineapple, garnish it with candied dates and a few soaked wolfberries, and it's ready to eat.
