Get the eggs ready.

One piece of pork belly with skin (about one pound).

Prepare accessories.

Put the eggs into the pot and cook until they are completely lost.

After cooking, remove and put into cold water, peel and set aside.

While the eggs are cooking, wash the pork belly and slice it into slices, not too thin.

Pour cold water into the pot and blanch the pork belly in hot water to remove the blood. Remove and rinse twice with warm water.

Wash the onion and ginger, cut the onion into sections and cut the ginger into large pieces.

Put onions, ginger, half a teaspoon of cooking wine, pork belly, eggs, an appropriate amount of rock sugar, an appropriate amount of soy sauce, about ten star anise and water into the pot, and bring to a boil over high heat.

If you have a pressure cooker, you can put it directly in the pressure cooker. Because I didn’t have it at home, I boiled it, poured it into a rice cooker, added a bottle of Coke, and cooked it for 2.5-3 hours in standard cooking mode.
