Golden Pear Bun
Overview
Today I started researching an elephant staple food. My family said this is the best staple food I have made (are you praising me?) The flour uses refined grains and coarse grains, which is the best combination and suitable for all ages. This staple food is also a powerful weapon to attract children.

Steps
-
Prepare ingredients, mix together flour, cornmeal, yeast, baking powder, and white sugar.
-
Add warm water and knead into a dough, not too soft, let it rise for about 40 minutes
-
Knead the risen dough and deflate it.
-
Divide into small portions, the size refers to the size of the buns (reserve one or two portions for decoration)
-
Press flat and round with your hands, no rolling pin required. . Not too thin, add appropriate bean paste filling.
-
Wrap the filling and then shape into a pear shape.
-
Use chopsticks to lightly press a pit on the top, about one centimeter deep (circle the top with your hands when pressing to avoid damaging the shape)
-
Put it in the pot and cover it with a lid, continue to let it rise for 25 minutes, turn on the heat, set it to medium-high heat, steam it for 15 minutes after boiling it, simmer it for about 3 minutes and take it out
-
Roll a small piece of dough into several small sticks to make pear handles, and bake in the oven at 125 degrees for about 15 minutes (if you don’t have an oven, you can also fry or bake in a pan. It may not be easy to starch after frying)
-
Melt the chocolate over water, spread the melted chocolate on the roasted pears with chopsticks and let cool
-
Take the golden pears out of the pot, let them cool slightly and then add the pear handles!
