Simple version of braised pork

Simple version of braised pork

Overview

My family loves braised pork, especially the fat and lean ones made with pork belly. We make it almost every two days! Every time I made it before, I didn't pay attention to take pictures. This time because the time was short, I thought of a simple version of the braised pork recipe, so that friends who don't know how to make sugar-coated pork can have a simple method! !

  1. First wash and blanch the pork belly, then cut into pieces of about 3cm

  2. Then put half of the seasonings and minced ginger into the meat, mix well, and put it on the fresh-keeping layer of the refrigerator for more than an hour.

  3. The longer it sits, the more flavor will develop. Then put the pot on high heat, add water, put in the meat and all the remaining seasonings (it is better for the water to cover all the meat)

  4. After boiling on high heat for 10 minutes, turn on low heat and simmer for about an hour. (Of course, be careful not to boil the water dry in the middle. Use chopsticks to poke the meat to see if it is tender enough.) Taste the soup before the juice is reduced, and then season! Then put it on a plate and sprinkle with chopped green onions! Isn’t it super simple? There is no need to boil sugar and stick to the pan, and there is no need to worry about the poor color when making braised pork.
