Bamboo tube rice
Overview
I went to my hometown, a bamboo forest, and suddenly I wanted to make bamboo tube rice, so I looked for thicker bamboo. My father helped me get 2 old bamboos, split them in half, and 3 young bamboos. The tender bamboos are very soft and can be opened with hands. I planned to use these 3 tender bamboos to make disposable bamboo tube rice.

Soak the glutinous rice overnight, drain the water and set aside.

Prepare the ingredients, 4 soaked shiitake mushrooms, 1 cooked sausage, and 2 ham sausages.

Chop the ingredients.

Mix glutinous rice and chopped ingredients evenly.

Put a spoonful of sugar.

Add 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce

Prepare dry red wine.

Add 3 tablespoons of wine.

Put it into old bamboo, add 100ml of water, wrap 2 ends with rice dumpling leaves, and tie tightly with rope

Put 2 old bamboos into the steamer, bring to a boil over medium heat for 1 and a half hours.

Pot rice from the top of young bamboo, add 100ml of water, add less water to small bamboo, wrap it with rice dumpling leaves and tie tightly

Put some water in the electric pressure cooker, add tender bamboo rice, press for 30 minutes, and keep warm for 30 minutes.

This is bamboo tube rice made from tender bamboo. I split it into two halves with a knife, and both halves contain rice.
