Use a knife to make cross cuts on the chestnuts, be careful not to cut your fingers!

Cut all the chestnuts into cross-cut pieces and wash them in water!

Don’t dry all the moisture on the chestnuts. Put some moisture into the oven and they will be done in 20 minutes at 200 degrees! Each oven has different power, the time and temperature are for reference only!

Because the chestnuts themselves are relatively sweet, I did not brush them with sugar or honey when roasting them in the oven! If you don’t have an oven at home, it is not recommended that you use a microwave oven to roast chestnuts. The microwave oven will evaporate most of the water in the food during the heating process. Since the chestnut meat itself contains less water, if it is roasted in a microwave oven, the chestnut meat will be too hard!
