Dried Spanish Mackerel Steamed with Spicy Pepper
Overview
Dried salted mackerel is a traditional fisherman’s dish from Northeast China. You can choose any variety according to your preference. Just put this ingredient in a container, add some oil, and steam it thoroughly. The dried Spanish mackerel I made is not particularly salty. Generally, the price of the dried mackerel sold in the market is much higher than that of the salty one. Therefore, when buying dried mackerel, be sure to remember to buy the sweet and sun-dried mackerel. It has a lighter taste, full of umami and thick meat. Pair it with a bowl of porridge and you will remember it after eating it once!
