How to make dry pot pork ribs and shrimp
Overview
Recently, I suddenly fell in love with shrimps. I like them in all kinds of ways. I happened to go shopping in Ito at night and came across shrimps on sale, only 36 per pound. It was really cheap and a big one. So, I decisively bought a pound of shrimps. I remembered that there were spareribs from my hometown in the refrigerator, so I made a dry pot spareribs and shrimps. The taste was so delicious that even my boyfriend who usually disdained my dishes was full of praise. It seemed that I had regained my status.

Ingredients
Steps
-
First blanch the ribs, then cook them for 5 minutes, remove them and add a little light soy sauce and cooking wine to taste;
-
While the ribs are cooking, remove the shrimp lines from the shrimp and cut open the back of the shrimp;
-
For other side dishes, cut them into strips or into slices. You can cut them in any way you want;
-
The condiments I use include ginger, onions, garlic, dried chilies, Sichuan peppercorns, spices, chicken essence, and light soy sauce. The spices here can be mixed randomly (mainly orange peel, tangerine peel, trisodium, star anise, and grass fruit);
-
There is also spicy hot pot base from Spicy Space. I picked it up when I went to a friend’s house to eat hot pot last time and I just used it;
-
Heat oil in a pot, fry the ribs until golden brown, and remove from the pot;
-
Fry the shrimps until they change color and then remove them;
-
Then fry the potatoes until golden brown and fry the lotus roots in oil;
-
Add the remaining oil directly to the spices, hotpot base, dried chili, peppercorns, ginger, onion and garlic and saute until fragrant;
-
Then add onions, celery, and ribs and stir-fry for a few minutes, and add a little light soy sauce;
-
Then add the shrimp and continue to stir-fry. Finally, add the potatoes and lotus root strips and stir-fry for two minutes. Add a little chicken essence and serve.
