Black sesame and carrot scones
Overview
Today I recommend a very delicious dough pancake, filled with black sesame seeds, and also made with carrots and noodles. Needless to say, carrots are a good and cheap ingredient as everyone on earth knows. The texture and taste of this cookie are very good. It is loved by all ages, especially children.

-
Steam the sliced carrots for 10 minutes, then add an equal amount of water to a food processor and blend into a fine paste. Remember that the ratio of carrots to water is 1:1. Choose the amount of carrot paste according to the amount of flour you use. The ratio of carrot paste to flour is still 1:1. Add the yeast into the carrot paste and stir it, then beat in an egg, add corn oil and stir evenly.
-
Then add the flour, stir it with a tool until it becomes a large fluff, and then start kneading the dough.
-
Just roughly knead the flour into a ball. There is no need to pursue a smooth dough, just shape it. Brush some oil on top to cover the hair. It takes about 40 minutes for the dough to rise until doubled in size. This dough is very soft. I have made both soft and hard dough. In comparison, I prefer a softer texture because it tastes better.
-
Grind the cooked black sesame seeds into powder with a food processor, add sugar and corn oil and mix until it becomes thicker and can form a ball without flowing. Do not thin it out.
-
Take out the risen dough and deflate it briefly, then divide it into 8 small pieces. You can divide it into as many pieces as you like. I divided it into 8 pieces.
-
Each small dough ball is simply rolled into a ball. First, roll it into an oval shape, then roll it up, roll it out, and then roll it up again. The purpose of this is to make the dough more delicate and solid, so you don't have to knead it.
-
Then directly flatten the dough, add a spoonful of mixed black sesame filling, and wrap tightly so that the filling is not exposed.
-
Place the wrapped small dough with the seam downwards, roll it into a 1 cm thick cake, and place it on the baking sheet.
