Ingredients
Steps
-
First sift the flour and sugar into a bowl
-
Soften the butter at room temperature, cut it into small pieces, add it to the flour and sugar mixture, and rub it into coarse grains with your hands, so that the butter is evenly coated in the flour
-
Add the egg yolk liquid to the butter mixture
-
Gently knead the flour into a dough with your hands. You don’t need to knead it for a long time. Just form a ball
-
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap, flatten it slightly, and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour
-
After taking it out, let it warm for a while, then use a rolling pin to roll it into a 12.5px thick dough piece
-
Use the mold to press out the shape you like
-
After pressing each one, take it out and put it into a baking tray lined with paper. Press one and brush it with egg wash to avoid pressing the last one and the previous ones will dry out. Leave some space when placing them
-
Then use a toothpick to score the texture on the cookies that have been brushed with egg wash, bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, cool and seal after taking out the oven
