American Ginseng and Chicken Soup
Overview
American ginseng nourishes qi and nourishes yin, clears away heat and promotes fluid production. It is used for qi deficiency and yin deficiency, internal heat, cough, wheezing, phlegm and blood, deficiency of heat, irritability, thirst, dry mouth and throat. Dosage: 3~6g. Benefits lung yin, clears deficiency fire, produces fluid and quenches thirst. Treats lung deficiency, chronic cough, blood loss, dry throat, thirst, deficiency heat, and tiredness. If the body has heat symptoms, such as dry mouth and irritability, hot palms, red face, and frequent fatigue, American ginseng supplements can achieve the purpose of recuperation. On the other hand, if you cough with phlegm, excessive saliva, or have symptoms such as edema, you should avoid taking American ginseng supplements to avoid aggravating the condition. 1.
