  1. Soften the butter in advance and add powdered sugar.

  2. Use a whisk to beat the butter until it becomes fluffy and light in color.

  4. Sift in the flour, add almond powder and salt.

  5. Nuts, I used walnuts, almonds, and cashews.

  7. Mix the chopped nuts into the butter batter and mix well.

  8. Place the batter on plastic wrap and shape into a long strip with your hands. Place in the freezer of the refrigerator and freeze for 1 hour.

  9. Cut the frozen dough into 0.6cm thick slices. Personally, I feel that freezing it for an hour is just right. It won’t fall apart when cut, and it won’t freeze too hard.

  10. Arrange cookie sheets on a nonstick baking sheet.

  11. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake on the middle shelf for 20 minutes.
