Fried Chicken Head with Rice with River Shrimp
Overview
Chicken head rice is a specialty of Taihu Lake. The shell of chicken head rice resembles a chicken head, hence the name. When you open the chicken head, you will find fruits one by one. The surface of the fruit is attached with a hard peel. After peeling off the peel, you will get the delicious white chicken head rice. Every September, you can see fresh chicken head rice being sold at our vegetable market, and the price is not cheap! Last year’s price was 120 yuan per catty! But the foodie couldn't resist the temptation and bought some to try! I fried it with the river shrimps I peeled by myself!

Bought fresh chicken head rice

Boil water in a pot and add chicken head rice
