My friend gave me a large piece of old winter melon, which is perfect for making soup.

Soak Hericium erinaceus for hair.

Cut off the stem and tear into small pieces.

Rinse the figs

Pig fan bones fly into the water to wash away the foam.

Soak barley in water for 30 minutes.

Put the above ingredients into the soup pot, fill half the pot with water, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Wipe off the white ash on the skin of the winter melon, remove the flesh and cut into pieces. (Save the winter melon peel and cook it together. The peel has the effect of clearing away heat and detoxifying.)

Add the winter melon, turn to high heat and bring to a boil.

Simmer over low heat for 1 hour and season with salt when eating.
