-
Take out about 30 grams of dough, add bamboo charcoal powder and knead evenly

Put the black and white dough into a basin, cover it with a damp cloth and put it in the oven to ferment with low flour

This is what it looks like after 40 minutes of fermentation

Take out the white dough and flatten it to deflate

Roll out the black dough and use a piping tip to cut out small round pieces
-
Take a piece of dough, flatten it and roll it out, put bean paste filling in the middle and wrap it up
-
Take a small black round piece and cut it into two pieces to make ears. Take 2 more pieces, punch out a small hole in each piece and stretch them out to make eyes. Cut the piece off to make a mouth
-
Place the finished buns into a steamer lined with oil paper, leaving some space between each other
-
Add warm water to the pot and put it in a steamer for secondary fermentation for about 20 minutes

Steam over high heat for 15 minutes and simmer for 5 minutes before taking it out of the cage
