Steps

  1. Prepare the ingredients. You can mix the ingredients as you like. The milk in Tamagoyaki can also be replaced with water or stock.

  2. Chop the sausage into small pieces. The sausage has a salty taste, so I didn’t add salt to the egg mixture.

  3. Beat the eggs, add milk, pepper, and chopped sausage, and stir evenly in one direction.

    Tamagoyaki step 3
  4. I use a Tamagoyaki flat-bottomed frying pan. The advantage is that it can be set directly without using a pan. Brush oil on the bottom of the pan. When it is not hot enough, pour in half of the egg liquid and fry over low heat.

  5. Before the egg mixture is almost cooked, add a few lettuce leaves and a slice of cheese.

  6. Place a banana and roll it up with chopsticks.

  7. This egg roll is relatively thick, so I take it out and fry another piece of egg cake. If banana is not used, the egg roll will be very small, so I just put it on the side and fry the next egg cake.

  8. Repeat the previous steps to fry the second piece of egg pancake. Before the egg liquid is almost cooked, put the previous egg roll on it, use chopsticks and spatula to roll it up, and let it rest for a while to set it.

  9. Cut into sections and plate.
