Grilled Jackfruit
Overview
Fresh jackfruit is not easy to store, so what should I do if I can’t eat it? I tried baking it into dried fruit and it was pretty good.

Steps
-
A pot of jackfruit
-
Remove the inedible white part of the head of the jackfruit.
-
Use scissors to cut open the surface and remove the core.
-
Unfold the pulp and place on the grill.
-
You can arrange them more closely, as they will shrink a lot when baked.
-
Preheat the oven to 140 degrees, turn on the hot air circulation function of the oven, and bake for 1 hour. Check the status in the middle and there is no obvious change

After baking for an hour and a half, there were obvious changes. Take out the grill and adjust the position of the jackfruit. Put the ones in the middle to both sides, and put the ones on both sides toward the middle.
-
Continuing to bake, the heat in my oven is not evenly distributed. I find that the paint near the sides of the box is heavier and dries faster.

It took a total of 2 and a half hours to bake. Take it out and put it on a bamboo racket, let it cool and dry in the wind. After roasting and drying, most of the moisture has been removed, with only a few remaining moisture. Check it once in the first hour and every 20 minutes in the next hour. Check it every 10 minutes in the last half hour, and adjust the position of the dried jackfruit in time to prevent it from burning.

After drying for 1 day, the pulp is tough and tastes like preserved fruit, very chewy.
