Prepare ingredients: boiled eggs, black tea leaves, pepper, aniseed, cinnamon, and dark soy sauce.

After the hard-boiled eggs are cooked and soaked in cold water, gently crack the eggshells with a spoon to avoid cracks.

After adding water and light soy sauce to the pot, add tea leaves and seasonings, bring to a boil over medium heat, add eggs, simmer over low heat for fifteen minutes, turn off heat and soak until cool.
