When making steamed buns or flower rolls, you can leave some dough to make mask-shaped steamed buns.

Steps

  1. Take an appropriate amount of fermented dough and roll it into a large rectangle.

  2. Cut off any excess edges.

  3. Fold one edge like a fan.

  4. Pick it up again and fold the second edge. (You can also fold the lower edge first and then the upper edge, as you like)

  5. Take a little dough, roll it into a long strip, and stick it to both sides.

  6. Use a fork to make holes on all sides of the rectangle.

  7. Make other masks in sequence and put them in a steamer to ferment.
