Stir-fried water chestnuts with green garlic
Overview
Water chestnuts can clear away heat and detoxify, cool blood and promote fluid production. When I was a child, I liked eating them raw because they are sweet and crispy. As I get older, my gastrointestinal tract is not able to tolerate it, but it is still crispy and sweet when eaten cooked.
