Baked Crab with Rosemary Salt

Using salt-baking method to process crabs not only effectively preserves the deliciousness of crabs, but also makes the meat fresh and tender and has a richer aroma!

Brush the crabs clean, drain the water, and dry it with kitchen paper. Pour 2 pounds of coarse salt into the pot. The amount should be a little more, because you will need to cover the entire crab with salt later

Cover the pot and heat over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes until you hear crackling sounds in the pot

Open the lid, spread half of the salt around with a spatula, and put fresh rosemary into the pot

Place crab on top of herbs

Cover the whole crab with all the salt around it

Cover the pot and heat over low heat for 10 minutes (use the lowest heat on the stove core). Turn off the heat, do not open the lid, and continue to simmer for 5 minutes

After five minutes, open the lid, take out the crab and remove the salt particles
