Bread ingredients are ready
-
Put the milk, eggs and sugar into the mixing bowl first, then pour in the flour and yeast
-
After the dough is formed, add softened butter and continue kneading
-
When the dough can be pulled out into slightly transparent sheets, kneading is finished
-
Roll the dough into a ball, place it in a bucket, cover it with a lid and a damp cloth, and let it ferment in a warm place
-
When the dough is 2.5 times its original size, poke a hole in the dough with your finger. If it does not collapse or shrink, the fermentation is successful
-
Take out the dough, deflate it and make it into a round shape. Then weigh it and divide it into 16 equal parts. Knead each into a round shape, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for 10 minutes
-
When relaxing the dough, you can cut the smoked ham into very thin slices. For uniformity, you can use a mold to cut off the hard edges so that the soft ham slices can be better wrapped in the dough
-
Take a piece of loose dough, roll it into a round piece, put a piece of ham on it, and then use a scraper to cut out a radius
-
Start from one end and roll it up into a cone-shaped roll, pinch the edge tightly; make a total of 14 such cone-shaped rolls
-
There are two pieces of dough left, roll one into a round piece, chop one piece of ham into pieces, and place it in the middle of the dough piece
-
Wrap into small balls and do the same with the other one
-
Place 7 cone-shaped flowers and a round ball in a small baking pan, and then place them in the oven for secondary fermentation
-
When it doubles in size, brush the surface with egg wash and sprinkle a few white sesame seeds on the core
-
Put it into the middle rack of the preheated oven, 180 degrees, for 25 minutes. When you are satisfied with the color, you can cover it with a layer of tin foil
-
After taking it out of the oven, cool it slightly, unmold it, let it cool on a rack, then put it in a bag and seal it
