Grilled Dried Jackfruit
Overview
Jackfruit is known as the king of fruits. The fruit is grown on the trunk of a tree. There are countless golden meat bags inside. It is plump, soft, sweet, delicious, fragrant and has a high nutritional value. I bought one on Double 11. It was several dozen pounds too big and my friends and relatives shared it. They couldn’t finish it, so they baked it into dried jackfruit. During the roasting process, it is dried directly without adding any substances, retaining the original ingredients of the fruit, and has the unique natural taste of jackfruit.

Ingredients
Steps
-
The inner fruit of jackfruit weighs 5 pounds.
-
Take out the inner fruit of the jackfruit, peel the inner fruit and there is a core inside (it is edible). Remove a layer of membrane between the fruit and the core, and make a few cuts on the peeled pulp.
-
For the first pot, preheat the old-fashioned oven for 5 minutes on extra low, bake with hot air at about 120 degrees, and keep watching for 40 minutes until it is done. But it’s too little and I probably won’t be able to bake it all in 2 days, and it’ll only be baked until it’s eighty dry.
-
In the second pot, I baked it several times longer using a hanging grill. I baked it in 5 pots in total. I baked the core for 20 minutes and it was delicious.

The semi-finished product looks like flowers and tastes particularly good.
-
Delicious without any additions.
