Air fryer version of salt and pepper shrimp
Overview
I like to eat salt and pepper shrimp, but the traditional method requires deep frying, which I don't like. Nowadays, there is an air fryer. Just add a little oil, a little salt, a little five-spice powder and a little chili powder, and you can easily make a plate of salt and pepper shrimp. It's so easy, and it's crispy and delicious. The light salty, five-flavored and spicy taste brings out the fresh and sweet taste of the shrimp itself. It's delicious.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Use scissors to cut off the shrimp whiskers, then take the shrimp thread and insert a toothpick into the gap between the second section of the shrimp body, about half a centimeter.
-
Gently lift the toothpick upwards and the shrimp lines will come out. Don't use too much force as the shrimp thread may break easily.
-
There is another place to pick the shrimp line, which is at the head of the shrimp. Break off one side of the shrimp head, insert a toothpick from the back of the shrimp head, and then pick it up, and the shrimp thread will come out.
-
If the shrimp thread is broken, we can pinch the last two sections of the shrimp body and squeeze it hard a few times to squeeze out the broken shrimp thread.
-
After the shrimps are processed, rinse them, dry them, and add 1 tablespoon cooking wine and 1 tablespoon corn oil.
-
Add half a tablespoon of salt.
-
Add half a spoonful of five-spice powder.
-
Add a little chili powder, if you don't like it you can leave it out.
-
Mix all the seasonings well and marinate for a dozen or two minutes, half an hour at most is enough.
-
Line the air fryer basket with a layer of tin foil and arrange the shrimps so that they do not overlap as much as possible.
-
Bake at 180 degrees for 8 minutes until the shrimps are all red. The time and temperature are for reference only, everyone's machine is different.
