Homemade invert syrup
Overview
A set of Xizhong mooncake molds. After trying snow-skin mooncakes, I really want to try Cantonese-style mooncakes. After consulting a lot of information, I found that making Cantonese-style mooncakes requires two uncommon ingredients, such as invert syrup and citrus water. Looking more closely, the raw materials for making invert syrup are actually very simple: water, white sugar and lemon juice. There is no problem with water and white sugar, but lemon juice cannot be replaced by anything else, so I squeezed the juice of two small lemons in advance for later use; haha, I was lucky, I succeeded on the first time~~~

Steps
-
Prepare relevant ingredients
-
Squeeze lemon juice in advance and set aside
-
Pour the water into the caster sugar and stir gently to mix
-
Place it on the gas stove and heat it over medium-low heat. Do not stir during the process
-
After boiling, add lemon juice, boil again and then turn to low heat
-
Do not stir in the middle. If the sugar water sticks to the wall of the pot, you can use a brush dipped in a little water to brush around the wall of the pot. The sugar liquid will flow into the pot
-
Simmer slowly over low heat until the color is close to the color of honey for about 40 minutes, then turn off the heat

The effect is good
