Black pepper bacon roll
Overview
This bread recipe comes from Abalone's "The First Step of Falling in Love with Baking". It works well after trying it several times. For people like me who don't like to delve into it and like to get it done overnight, just pick a good book and just follow it.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Chop the onion, add cracked black pepper and mix well. Set aside. If you don’t have cracked black pepper, you can use black pepper noodles.
-
Weigh the dough ingredients except butter and pour them into the bread machine. Start the dough rising program and mix for about 15 minutes. When the dough is smooth, add butter.
-
When the fermentation is complete, press the dough lightly with your fingers until it does not spring back, then take it out and continue to the next step.
-
Divide the dough into 6 portions. After rolling, relax for a while.
-
Use a rolling pin to roll the relaxed dough into a rectangular shape. Place bacon, cheese slices, black pepper and chopped onion on one side.
-
Fold the dough in half.
-
Roll up from one end into a roll.
-
Place the rolled rolls on a baking sheet (brushed with oil beforehand) and place in the preheated oven to rise.
-
Brush the bread rolls that are sufficiently fermented with egg wash, preheat the oven to 190 degrees, and bake for about 25 minutes.
