Prepare the ingredients, scrape the pork belly clean with a knife, do not wash it with water.

Place the peppercorns in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

Add the peppercorns to the pot and stir-fry until fragrant.

Add salt and stir-fry evenly.

Stir gently until the salt turns slightly brown.

While hot, put the pork belly into a pot and coat it with a layer of salt. Place it in a container, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator. Reapply salt every 2 to 3 days. Be careful to drain the water out of the meat in time. Water can easily cause the meat to deteriorate.

After 10 days, hang the meat in a ventilated, cool place not exposed to direct sunlight for about 20 days.
