Christmas Colorful Roast Chicken

Christmas Colorful Roast Chicken

Overview

Christmas is coming! My son is clamoring for a roasted turkey 😳😳. Where can I go to prepare a turkey? But it’s no match for his constant coquettishness to please me. Well, let’s make a roasted whole chicken to satisfy this little foodie 😄 and warm up for Christmas by the way

Steps

  1. Wash and dry the three-yellow chicken and remove the chicken feet. Prepare the Orleans roast sauce according to the instructions. In order to make the roast chicken more flavorful, use a toothpick to poke small holes in the chicken. Apply the prepared Orleans roast sauce evenly on the chicken and smear some on the belly. The next step is to give the chicken a full body massage, and then put the chicken and juice into a plastic bag, squeeze out the air and make the bag close to the chicken body. In order to prevent the bag from breaking, I added another plastic bag on the outside and put it in the refrigerator overnight

  2. Take the refrigerated marinated chicken out of the refrigerator and massage it slightly. Cut the prepared apples, potatoes and sweet potatoes into small dices, add butter to the pot, add the diced fruits and vegetables into the pot and stir-fry, add an appropriate amount of salt and black peppercorns and stir-fry until 8 minutes done

  4. Line the baking sheet with tin foil, put the chicken into the baking sheet. You can put some potato pieces, sweet potato pieces, and some scallions in the baking pan. Put it in the middle and lower layers of the oven and bake at 180°C for 50 minutes. Take it out and brush some honey water in the middle. You can turn it over properly, so that the chicken body will bake more evenly and the color will look better😊

  5. Our family has a large population, so I added additional side dishes. About half an hour after the roasted chicken was baked, I started to make the side dishes. Cut the green pepper into small pieces, cut the onion into small wedges, cut the green onions diagonally, and dice the potatoes. Take out the roasted chicken, add the fried side dishes to the baking pan, place some small tomatoes around it, and put it in the oven to continue baking.

  6. After baking is completed, use a toothpick to prick the thickest part and draw out no blood. The little guy is anxious to eat, even more active than me. Look at the little hands in the photo, how impatient he is 😂😂
