Soy Sauce Duck

Overview

My friend slaughtered his own duck and sent it over early this morning. Thank you very much! I didn’t originally plan to post the recipe, but I didn’t take pictures of the entire process. I posted a random photo and if a friend wanted to make it, I uploaded it. Just wait and see. .

  1. Clean the duck cart and rub salt all over.

  2. Pour an appropriate amount of dark soy sauce and soy sauce over the duck. Put a small piece of rock sugar, star anise, and ginger in the duck's belly and marinate for an hour.

  3. Add appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, and simmer over low heat for ten minutes.

  4. Flip over and simmer for another ten minutes. If necessary, use high heat for ten minutes to reduce the juice.
