Honey Glazed Pork Ribs
Overview
Braised pork ribs is a dish that is often cooked at home. It is cooked to a shiny sugar color, and the honey juice of rock sugar is cooked to the right temperature. This type of pork ribs is the favorite of my husband. If you are used to eating ordinary braised pork ribs, you can try increasing the amount of rock sugar to bring out the sugar color. After one bite, the sweet and meaty flavor will fill your mouth. It is simple and delicious

Steps
-
Wash all materials clean. If the ribs are very fresh, just rinse them lightly with water. Over-rinsing will wash away the flavor of the meat.
-
Heat oil in a pan and add a large amount of rock sugar. The approximate ratio for one pound of ribs is 70 to 100g of rock sugar. Adjust according to your own taste.
-
Add the pork ribs and ginger, garlic, and dried chili peppers. Stir-fry the pork ribs to coat with sugar color. This step of frying the sugar is very important, as it allows the thick honey juice to coat the fat of the cooked meat. This step is the key to this dish. The stir-fried pork ribs were slightly burnt.
-
The order of seasoning is: a small spoonful of cooking wine, two or three drops of vinegar, appropriate amounts of light soy sauce and dark soy sauce, and then add an appropriate amount of salt according to the situation. If the order of seasoning is different, the taste of the dish will be different.
-
Add twice as much water.
-
Cover the pot and cook over high heat until the water dries up.
-
When the soup is almost dry, be careful not to burn the pot. When there is a little soup left, stir-fry the pork ribs continuously to make the sugar color even.
-
Remove from the pan. It's that simple. The simpler it is, the better it can maintain the original taste of the food. Delicious.
