Wash lettuce and yam

Slice lettuce and yam slices and soak them in salt water for 10 minutes (salt prevents oxidation)

Slice onion, ginger and garlic and set aside

Add edible oil (salad oil, olive oil) to the wok, stir-fry onions, ginger, and garlic until fragrant. Pour in lettuce slices and yam slices and stir-fry. Pour in a little water, add salt and chicken essence, and serve.
