Crispy milk glutinous rice crackers
Overview
This is my first time making small glutinous rice fruits. Because every time I go to the night market, I will see a couple frying on the spot. Every time the man saw that there were too many people, he would shout loudly, "Glutinous rice fruit, made of real glutinous rice." When he shouted, many people would buy it, and sometimes there would be a long queue. Every time I didn't buy it, I would go and see how he made it. (This is my habit. When I see the food I like being made, I will stand there and watch it. I am always ridiculed by my daughter and husband, saying that I am obsessed with food). I rarely buy fried food outside because I am afraid that gutter oil and oil that has been fried repeatedly are unhealthy for me. I have never eaten fried dough sticks or fried food during confinement. I’ve seen it a lot, and when I make it at home, it tastes no worse than the ones sold. The most important thing is that it’s healthy. The fried glutinous rice fruits sold there use glutinous rice flour mixed with water and no vegetable oil. The oil is also fried repeatedly, while I use milk mixed with glutinous rice flour and add vegetable oil and baking powder. It can be eaten as a snack or as a pre-meal snack. It is sweet and chewy. Glutinous rice is sweet in taste and warm in nature, and enters the spleen, stomach, and lung meridians; it has the effects of replenishing qi, strengthening the spleen and stomach, and stopping sweating. It has a certain effect on relieving cold spleen and stomach, poor appetite, abdominal distension and diarrhea; glutinous rice has astringent effect and has a good therapeutic effect on frequent urination and night sweats.
