Cut the chicken legs into small pieces, cut the peppers, and cut the steamed buns into long strips.

Heat up some oil in a pan, add 2 star anise and garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add chilies and stir-fry.

Add chicken legs and stir-fry.

Add appropriate amounts of light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, cooking wine, sugar, salt and 1 spoon of oyster sauce and stir-fry for about 3 minutes.

Finally add water, the amount of water should cover the chicken legs.

Cover tightly and cook to reduce juice. While the chicken legs are cooking, open a small pot to fry the steamed buns.
