Stir-fried large intestine with pickled cabbage
Overview
In my memory, my mother’s classic dishes always include stir-fried large intestines with sauerkraut. Today I went to the supermarket in the city and accidentally discovered that large intestines are also sold abroad. I was so excited that I bought a pack of prepared large intestines. Unfortunately, I looked for sauerkraut in many supermarkets, but I couldn’t buy the same domestic ones, so I could only buy packaged sauerkraut for use.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the processed large intestine with clean water and cut the ginger into pieces
-
Prepare sauerkraut
-
Heat oil in a pan and sauté ginger until fragrant
-
Put down the large intestine and stir-fry (the large intestine has been blanched with water when you buy it, so you don’t need to fry it for too long before it’s cooked). Add a little cooking wine to remove the fishy smell
-
Pour in the sauerkraut and stir-fry for a while. Because the sauerkraut itself is quite salty, season it with a small amount of salt and chicken essence, and it's ready to serve.

The stir-fried large intestines with sauerkraut can be eaten with rice. Although it is not as good as my mother's stir-fried large intestines, it can still satisfy your cravings.
