Grilled Squid with Sauce
Overview
Sometimes I like to eat squid on an iron plate outside. If I don’t have an iron plate at home, I bake it in the oven to see how it tastes.

Steps
-
Prepare ingredients. Cut off the head of the squid, pull out the internal organs, remove the outer skin and clean it.
-
Cut the squid into 1cm wide rings and cut into large pieces.
-
Chop a quarter of an onion into slices and place in a crisper along with the squid.
-
Take a small bowl, add barbecued pork sauce, chili sauce, light soy sauce, cooking wine, garlic (beat into pieces) and black pepper and mix evenly to form a marinade.
-
Pour marinade into squid.
-
Mix thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate for more than four hours.
-
Line a baking sheet with tin foil, place half of the chopped onion, and spread the marinated squid on top of the onion.
-
Put it in the oven, bake at 200 degrees for 6 minutes, take it out, brush with a layer of barbecued pork sauce (add a little water to mix), and bake for another 6 minutes.
