Wash the spareribs, blanch them in water to remove the foam, drain and set aside

When blanching, cut the green onions into sections, shred the ginger, and crush the aniseed ingredients and set aside

Heat oil in a pan

Add rock sugar

When the rock sugar melts, add the pork ribs and stir-fry (the rock sugar in the picture still needs to be simmered for a while, and it was too late to cook by myself, so I took the picture in advance)

Stir-fry until the ribs are coloured, add aniseed, onion and ginger and stir-fry for a while

After the flavor is infused, pour hot water to cover the ribs

Bring to a boil over high heat, add salt, a little dark soy sauce, and boil again

Pour everything into the electric casserole and cook for 40 minutes. If you don’t have an electric casserole, you can just use the pot you just bought, but you have to use low heat and watch it not go out. I’m lazy, so an electric casserole is best.

After 40 minutes, return the wok to high heat to reduce the juice. Sprinkle a little sesame seeds on the plate and serve.
