Pumpkin dumplings
Overview
It’s autumn and the weather has become drier, so enjoy simple and delicious seasonal soups. Pumpkin dumplings, a name I chose myself. Xiaoyuanzi are small glutinous rice balls without fillings. I added mung beans here, but those who don’t like them can leave them out.

Peel the pumpkin and cut it into cubes. Just put water in the pot and cook the pumpkin together. The long pumpkin I used is pink and very sweet. I like the taste of pumpkin seeds, so I cooked it together.

While the pumpkin is cooking, start kneading the glutinous rice and water into a smooth dough.

Knead into long strips, cut into small pieces, and roll into small balls. Supermarkets sell them ready-made, which is more convenient.

After the pumpkin is cooked, add the dumplings and cook until the dumplings float. Add rock sugar and enjoy.
